Range hood lights restored

The lights under this kitchen hood would not turn on. We replaced the lighting transformer—the white component shown in the service photo. With the replacement fitted, the lights came back on. The before-and-after photos show the same hood.

This hood needed a transformer, but another hood with the same symptom might have a different fault. The model and the condition of the bulbs, controls and power supply determine what needs checking.
